Roy Hodgson says he is proud England managed to qualify for Euro 2016 with a 100 percent record.
The Three Lions rounded off their qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win against Lithuania on Monday — thanks to strikes from Ross Barkley and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, as well as an own goal from Giedrius Arlauskis — meaning they picked up 10 victories in all 10 of their games.
They have become just the sixth nation to qualify for a European Championship with a perfect record and it is something Hodgson says his side should take great satisfaction from.
“I’m very proud of the players’ performance,” he told ITV. “It was excellent [...]
Hollywood actor and comedian Will Ferrell couldn’t resist from mocking Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho during his award acceptance speech in the GQ Men of the Year 2015 awards. Ferrell, who won Comedian of the Year accolade at the ceremony, took a sly dig at the Portuguese manager’s tactics who was among the attendance with his eldest daughter Matilde. The Blues manager has had a relatively difficult start to the season and his team has been criticised for their slump in such early stages of the new campaign gathering only 4 points from their first 4 fixtures. Check out the hat-trick below….
Montreal are in the middle of an intense battle for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Tonight’s win was their first in five games. They had gone six matches without a [...]

Reports in France have put his final price as high as £58.8m, which is just below the British record £59.7m paid by United for Ángel di María. The purchase of Martial by Louis van Gaal, the manager, is some surprise given the size of the fee and his relative inexperience.
United would have preferred to move for Martial next summer. However Van Gaal needed to strengthen his forward line and he was also conscious that Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were all interested in the player. [...]
