At the IFA 2015, Intel has launched its latest range of processors codenamed “Skylake”, which is targeted for pretty much everything, whether it be smartphones, computers the size of a USB stick or high end gaming rigs. This “sixth generation” core family boasts a number of superlatives: they’re fast and efficient, have improved performance, boost battery life and graphics power thanks to a new microarchitecture. 495 backers pledged $75,998 to help bring project “Voltus” to life. It’s a portable charger for the new USB-C MacBook is close to reaching its target. Voltus, a palm-sized USB charger that will power the new MacBook for up to 9 hours, is allegedly as fast as a wall charger and can now be pre-ordered. Voltus will also allow users to connect traditional USB to their new MacBook and has charging ability for up to two other devices.
