Halo 5: Guardians is almost here. As the Oct. 27, 2015 release date approaches, the Xbox One title has received a brand new launch trailer complete with gameplay footage, CG cutscenes and even a little “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse. Why not?
The game features a campaign with eight Spartans in play. In the single player mode, players will either control Master Chief or Spartan Locke, and that’ll flip-flop over the course of the game.

Microsoft and 343 Studios have released the Halo 5: Guardians opening cinematic.
Launching this fall exclusively on Xbox One, Halo 5: Guardians continues the story of the Master Chief, and introduces a brand new central character to the Halo universe – Spartan Locke (as seen in the live action series “Halo: Nightfall”). Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked. And when humanity’s greatest hero goes missing, Spartan Locke is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.
