Strangeways: Prisoner Protests on Roof for 3rd Day After Scaling Fence and Stripping to Underwear

by Hashtag Daily TrendsSeptember 15, 2015
Stuart Horner, now 35, is originally from Benchill and was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court in 2012 to 27 years inside for murdering his uncle. He has also claimed that he intends to stay on the roof for 40 days, in hopes that he eclipses the previous record set by inmates back in the 1990s, during what eventually became the worst prison riot in British history.
He is also being fed by strangeways prison staff, who are providing him with noodles and water. He is pulling said items up onto the roof with a piece of rope.

At present, police officers are stood by with riot cops, and are claiming that there is no way for Horner to escape. They intend on waiting for him to come down.
