Manchester United vs. Leicester City: Premier League Clubs Draw, 1-1, at Old Trafford
Man Utd Anthony Martial scored in the eighth minute, and Leicester’s Wes Morgan responded with a goal in the 17th. Leicester would have clinched the Premier League with a win Sunday.
Louis van Gaal’s typical behaviour resurfaced after Manchester United drew with Leicester in the Premier League as he pulled a reporter’s hair and talked about masochistic sex.
Van Gaal had been asked about by Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison about an incident involving Marouane Fellaini and Foxes defender Robert Huth in the first-half.
German centre half Huth grabbed Fellaini’s hair and the Belgian retaliated by elbowing Huth. The United midfielder could be suspended for three Premier League games if he is retrospectively charged by the Football Association.
Van Gaal, though, defended Fellaini during his exchange with Davison.
“When you see what Huth is doing to Fellaini, that’s a penalty,'” Van Gaal told the Sky Sports reporter. “Shall I grab you by your hair? What is your reaction when I grab your hair?
“Your hair is shorter than Fellaini but when I do that, what are you doing then? It’s a reaction.
“Every human being who is grabbed by the hair, only with sex masochism, then it is allowed but not in other situations. They did it. They did it several times I think.
“Huth was the guy who grabbed the hair of Fellaini. I think the reaction of Fellaini is like a human being. He is always like that.”
Never a dull day with Van Gaal.
