Lara Croft: Alicia Vikander Cast to Play Character in Upcoming ‘Tomb Raider’ Reboot
Vikander is known for her Oscar-winning performance in “The Danish Girl.” Angelina Jolie first played Croft, a fictional character based on the “Tomb Raider” video game franchise, in 2001 and 2003.
Last year, Vikander was also reported as being chased to star in Assassin’s Creed and the new Jason Bourne movie. It looks like the 27-year-old Swedish star has now become one of the most sought out actresses in Hollywood, and rightfully so.
Angelina Jolie is going to take some beating though….
